Testing Information

  • - ACT:The ACT college readiness assessment is a curriculum- and standards-based tool that assesses readiness for college.

    - SAT:The SAT is the benchmark standardized assessment of the critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills students have developed over time and that they need to be successful in college.

    - PSAT:The PSAT has a series of tests starting in 8th grade through your junior year. The PSAT/NMSQT (junior level test) is a test that can qualify you for scholarships and other honors. All of the PSAT related tests can help you start thinking about and planning for college, see which academic skills you need to work on, and get ready for college entrance exams, such as the SAT.

    - AP: These tests are registered for by students in Advanced Placement Classes that wish to get a weighted grade and possible college credit. There is a fee for each test taken. This fee is determined each year by College Board.
