Dr. Myers graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in secondary education. She has been in education since 1995 teaching and working with students in grades 6-12. Dr. Myers began her career as a classroom teacher at Tuslaw Local Schools as a business and computer teacher. During her Tuslaw tenure, she taught at Stark State College for three years in the Business Department. She continued her education and obtained her Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Ashland University and began her administrative career as a curriculum coordinator in Barberton City Schools.
In 2001, Dr. Myers accepted a position with the Jackson Local School District serving as a classroom teacher until 2003, an assistant high school principal until 2008, the middle school principal until 2010, and the high school principal until 2016. Dr. Myers currently serves as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.
Dr. Myers earned her superintendent’s license in 2006 and continued her graduate education at Ashland University in the Education Leadership Program and Instructional Technology earning her doctorate in Education Leadership, in August 2021 from Ashland University. She is a member of the Jackson Township Rotary Club and the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators.

Mrs. Rebecca Gribble graduated from The University of Akron in 1994 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in elementary education. Soon after, she earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Instructional Technology in 2000 and obtained her administrative license in 2003.
Mrs. Gribble has 10 years ‘experience teaching students in grades K-5, beginning her career by accepting a position as a third grade teacher at Sauder Elementary School with the Jackson Local School District in 1995. In 2001, she was promoted to Technology Integrator within the district, providing technology training to elementary teachers and helping students in grades K-5 adapt to cutting edge educational technology. She now serves as Elementary Curriculum Coordinator and District Gifted Coordinator. This position allows her to aid students and staff by providing training in best instructional practices and identifying and serving the needs of gifted students.
In addition to her duties within the district, Mrs. Gribble is an adjunct professor at Malone University where she co-teaches master level courses for teachers who are pursuing their gifted education endorsement. She is a member of OAGC (Ohio Association of Gifted Children) and regularly continues her education by attending professional conferences hosted by OAASFEP (Ohio Association of Administrators of State and Federal Education Programs) and OAGC (Ohio Association of Gifted Children). She actively participates in the Educational Service Center monthly meetings with Stark County curriculum, gifted and Title I coordinators.
She lives in Jackson Township with her husband Derek and their three children who attend Jackson Local Schools.
