    What: You will choose an authentic Spanish or Latino dish to share with everyone.

    Who: All Spanish Club members are welcome!!

    There are many, many more options. You can search authentic Spanish recipes or authentic Mexican recipes or ANY Spanish-speaking country to find ideas. Choose something you can make easily. If you need to make substitutions that is totally fine.

    This event is meant to be a fun time celebrating the end of the school year and delicious food!

    Please ask you Spanish teacher for a sign-up form and turn it in either to your teacher or to Señora Dennison in room C202. Also please complete the SHORT Google form below. This will help make record keeping much easier. All these are due by Friday September 14.

    Purpose:  Club activities are designed to promote the study of Spanish to our beginning/intermediate level Spanish students and to celebrate its related cultures in a relaxed, social atmosphere.  Some activities will also provide the opportunity to be of service to citizens of the world in need of assistance.


    Activities:  Some of our favorites are…Zumba, Salsa Dance Lesson, Spanish Bingo Party, skull face painting, ice-skating to Latin music, Mexican Food Night followed by a dance, group attendance to athletic events, etc… Activities are free for members. There is a nominal fee for guests. Activities are announced on the Spanish Club website, morning announcements, the Spanish classrooms and on Remind (text reminders).


    Membership:  Club membership is open to all students currently enrolled in a Spanish class, students who have already completed two years of Spanish and to all exchange students.


    Sign-up:  All Spanish teachers will offer you a sign-up form in class that you can return to him/her along with your annual dues.


    Dues:  There is a $15.00 fee for new members that includes the cost of the club t-shirt. Returning members must pay a fee of $10.00.  Money and the completed sign-up form will be turned in to your Spanish teacher or Señora Dennison in room C202.


    Requirements:  You must attend a minimum of 5 events in order to be recognized as an official member of Spanish Club!
