    Sophomore College & Career Day

Jackson High School annually hosts College & Career Day for all Sophomores.  This is an excellent opportunity for the 10th graders to learn more about college planning and the two-year College Tech Prep programs offered at JHS.  Students will view the programs, learn about career and technical offerings, and attend a session on scheduling and college preparation.

Sophomores will attend either the morning session (7:40 - 10:15) or the afternoon session (12:04 - 2:34) based on their last name.  Instructions will be given to the students numerous times prior to the event.

Career & Technical information plus a detailed description of each program (pages 14, 18-31, 36-38) appears within the 2020-21 Program of Study Guide

    Open House

Following College and Career Day there will be an evening open house. At the open house students and parents will have an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet instructors, ask questions and get more information. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our career tech offerings.
