    Terry Peterson

    Mr. Peterson is a 1981 graduate from Carrollton High School and obtained his Bachelors of Science in Education degree from the University of Akron in 1985. He obtained his Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University in 1997.

    In 1986 Mr. Peterson began teaching High School mathematics and coaching 3 sports at Streetsboro High School in Portage County.  During the next 14 years, he served as a teacher for 10 years, an assistant principal for 4 years, as well as being the varsity head boys’ basketball coach for 8 years and the varsity head baseball coach for 9 years.  He became an Assistant Principal at Jackson High School in 2000 and served for two years before taking over as the Jackson High School Athletic Director in 2002.

    Mr. Peterson is a member of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators, the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the National Federation of High School Athletics Association.  He is married to Nannette and together they have two children Mackenzie, a senior at The Ohio State University and a 2015 JHS graduate and Kent, a senior at Jackson High School.
