2024-2025

I was born in Madrid, Spain where I attended preschool, elementary school, high school and college. While in college I met my now husband during one summer in USA.Three years later we got married in Spain in a little village in the north of Spain. Then we moved to New York City where we lived for four years. I taught in a Special Education School. After NY we moved to Ohio (where my husband is originally from). By now I have been living in the USA for 25 years and I love where I live in Tallmadge with my husband and my seventeen-year-old daughter. But I also love Spain. All my family and friends are in Spain so I try to visit as often as I can and they come to visit us as well. 

I earned my M.A. in Educational Psychology from the Autónoma University in Madrid in 1999. In 2008 I attended The University of Akron where I obtained my licensure to teach Spanish in Ohio. Here at Jackson I am teaching Spanish IV,  AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. This is my 15th year  at  Jackson, I love being a member of the Jackson Local School District .
