Welcome to Jennifer Koladin's classroom home page.
ABOUT ME: I joined the Jackson High School staff in the 2012-2013 school year. During my teaching career I've taught high school in Arizona where I was newspaper advisor, class sponsor and bowling club advisor. I've also taught sixth grade language arts in San Diego, California. All of these teaching experiences and professional development prepared me well to become an adjunct faculty member at Stark State College in the fall of 2009. I have also taught writing at The University of Akron and been an ABLE (Adult Basic and Literacy Education) instructor in Wayne County.
I value the time I have with the JHS senior students each day, and we will have a busy year. In addition, I am the Key Club sponsor. The JHS Key Club is a youth service organization mentored through the Belden Village Kiwanis and Kiwanis International. We'll be giving of our time this year to help many worthy causes while having fun. The Key Club hosts the annual craft show (80 vendors) the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year. It is a free event and open to the public from 10-4).
