Athletic Announcements


    The Girls Golf team beat McKinley 175-269 on Tuesday to improve to 3-1 in league play. The team will play Saturday in the Stark County Championships at Sable Creek in Hartville.

    The Boys Golf team beat McKinley 152-213 on Tuesday and GlenOak on Wednesday 147-154 to improve to 5-0 in league play. The team will play Saturday in the Stark County Championships at Glenmoor.

    The Boys Soccer team beat Glenoak Tuesday 6-0 to improve to 3-0 in the league and 4-1-3 overall.  The team will host Solon on Saturday night.

    The Girls Soccer team beat GlenOak on Wednesday 4-0 to improve to 7-1 and 3-0 in league play. The girls play at Hudson on Saturday at 7:00 PM.

    The Girls Volleyball team beat McKinley Tuesday in 3 sets and beat   Green on Thursday 3 sets to 1. The team improves to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in league play.

    The Tennis team beat Green on Monday 5-0, Louisville Wednesday 4-1 to and Rocky River last night improve to 14-1 and 5-0 in league play. The team will play in Columbus on Saturday vs Olentangy Orange and Upper Arlington. The team will play Hoover at home on Monday for a key Federal League match at 4:30.

    The Varsity Football team is at home tonight vs Boardman. Game time is 7:00 PM at Fife.

    The Cross Country will run at Boardman on Saturday.

     The nationally acclaimed program “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete” is coming to Jackson HS Auditorium Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 PM. Learn how to be recruited, how to become academically eligible, how to get a scholarship or grant, How to setup college visits. This is for athletes and parents in grades 8-12. 

    M-Core will once again be offering heart screening to student athletes here at the high school Friday September 27th.  Please go to the MCore website if you are interested in registering.     Bell Stores has donated to some schools in the area to help parents with the cost of the heart screenings and now the cost for parents is $62 for your event on 9/27 rather than $79!
