    Dr. Richard Dinko became an assistant principal at JHS in 2005.  His prior experience includes seven years as an administrator and curriculum specialist for the Stark County Educational Service Center (SCESC), six years as a science teacher and debate coach at Jackson High School (JHS), and three years as a science teacher and football/track/speech/debate coach at Canton Central Catholic High School (CCHS).

    Dr. Dinko was awarded his doctorate degree from the University of Akron in 2004. His primary research examined the roles of teacher leaders as change agents in school reform.  As an undergraduate at The University of Akron he was an A-Key Award recipient, recognizing his academic success and campus leadership/volunteering contributions.

    Dr. Dinko has lived in Jackson Township for over 25 years with his wife (a graduate of JHS) and three children (all graduates from Jackson Local Schools).  The Dinko Family are all proud Polar Bears!
