    I have had the privilege of teaching at Jackson Memorial Middle School since 2002. I have had a few different teaching assignments over the years. I have taught 7th & 8th grade math and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science. I have taught 8th grade science since 2007.

    I earned my middle childhood math and science teaching degree from John Carroll University in 2002. I completed my student teaching in 8th grade math and science at Roxborro Middle School in the Cleveland Heights University Heights School District. I earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University in 2010.

    I spend my free time with my husband, daughter and dog. I enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking, skiing, cooking, baking, cake decorating, running and reading.

    I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Honeywell Hometown Solutions sponsored me to attend this life-changing program. I met people from 42 states and 27 countries while working cooperatively to train like astronauts, complete challenges, and build rockets.
