Hello!  My name is Mrs. Kohli and welcome to my classroom website.  My hope is that you find this resource to be helpful during your time in my class this year.  

2023-2024 marks my 27th year teaching.  I started my career in the Dayton / Springfield area and I've spent the last nineteen years at Jackson Memorial Middle School serving as an eighth grade science teacher.  My husband and I have two children, Ryan & Courtney,  and two dogs, Sammi & Sophie.

Eighth grade science focuses on areas of life, physical, and earth science, as well as general scientific knowledge and inquiry.  Throughout the year, students will learn to problem solve, complete scientific investigations and prepare for the 8th Grade Science OST Test.
