Hola.  My name is Sra. Steiner and I am from the small town of Dalton, (about 25 minutes to the south and west of here).  I have been married to my husband for 25 years and we have two children.  Our daughter is a freshman in high school and our son is a 7th grader this year.  

I graduated from The University of Akron in December of 1992.  In the fall of 1992 I co-wrote a couple of grants that enabled me to teach Spanish to elementary school students.  I did this in the spring of 1993.  I then taught in several area high schools for 6 years.  I received my Master’s in Classroom Guidance from the University of Akron in 2004.  This will be my 20th year teaching Spanish at JMMS.  For the first 19 years I taught Spanish One and Two to 8th graders.  This year I will be teaching the 6th and 7th grade students. 

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, walk and travel.  My favorite place to be is at home with my family.  My next favorite place to be would be in water - swimming pool, beach or hot tub.
