My name is Mrs. Fentner, and this is my thirtieth year at JMMS. I am from Rootstown, OH and graduated from Rootstown High School in 2005. I received my Bachelors degree in Education in 2009 and received my Masters degree as an Intervention Specialist in 2011 from Kent State University. In our district, I am the JMMS Intervention Department Chair and an IEP Case facilitator for middle school students. In the past, I have coached middle school cheerleading, JV softball at the high school, and was one of the advisors for the MILO group. I am so blessed to work for such a supportive school district and community!
I have an amazing family! I am married to a funny and energetic man named Neil. He works for First Energy at the West Akron Campus. We have two daughters, Avery (5) and Vivian (2). My parents still reside in Rootstown. I have one brother that lives in Hudson with his wife and my adorable nephews.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading fiction books, playing sports and board games, trying out new restaurants, and taking pictures. I am looking forward to an excellent school year at JMMS, and please contact me with any questions or concerns throughout the year.
