My Homework

  • Hello and welcome to my web page.  My name is Lori Bly and I have been teaching for 25 years.  The first two years were in Pennsylvania.  A suburb of Pittsburgh called Butler.  I taught third grade there.  After my move to Ohio, I found a wonderful home in Jackson Township.  I spent one year subbing, then was hired as a third grade teacher.  I spent 11 years at Lake Cable and met many wonderful staff members and parents.  When Strausser was built, I was sent to my current home...SAUDER.  I have been teaching at Sauder 13 years.  I have taught the grades of second, third, fourth and fifth.  I am currently teaching second grade.  All of the above grades have been a wonderful experience.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1990.  I am certified to teach grades kindergarten to eigth grade.   I am a Steelers fan, but more of a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.  I am a hockey nut at heart.

I have two children.  Both of which attend Jackson Schools.  My daughter, Avery, is in the 9th grade and my son, Nick, is in the 7th grade.    I have always been impressed with my children's progress and know that Jackson Local Schools are truly one of the best!
