Read or listen to books on your mobile devices, including your Chromebook.With Overdrive, students of Jackson Local Schools can browse many popular titles and download them for free. Ebooks and audiobooks are loaned for two weeks and will then disappear from your devices unless renewed.
- Go to the JMMS OverDrive Collection to browse for an ebook or audiobook to borrow.
- Click the "borrow" button next to an available resource.
- After the "polarbear\" in the top field, type your Bearworks username. Type the password in the field below.
- Download your electronic resource and enjoy.

Click on the link to begin browsing the ebooks available through the Ohio eBook Project. To borrow an ebook from this source, you must have a membership with the Stark County District Library or another public library that participates in the Ohio eBook Project. You must also have the Overdrive Media Console installed on your ereader.Project Gutenberg offers a collection of over 40,000 free eBooks. These books are free because their copyright expired. Most classic novels can be found at Project Gutenberg, including some of the novels from your Language Arts book lists.
