Meet Mrs. Gonzalez-Abreu

  • I am thrilled to be your homeroom teacher this year.  My name is Mrs. Gonzalez-Abreu (Mrs. G-A for short) and I am excited to be a part of the fourth-grade teaching team at Sauder Elementary teaching ELA & Social Studies.

I have been teaching in the Jackson Local School District since 2014.  My teaching experience consists of teaching 10 years in Miami, Florida (3rd-5th, but primarily 4th) and 12 years in Ohio (4th grade).  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading.

In 2009, my husband and I relocated from Miami, Florida with our three daughters, Francesca (22), Catalina (20), and Gabriela (18).  Francesca is now living in NJ and she is a fashion designer for The Children's Place and Gymboree. Catalina and Gabriela are students at OSU. We also have a dog, Annie.  I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, exercising and spending time with my family.

Once again, I am ecstatic about this new school year and know that it is going to be a great one, full of learning fun!
