Meet Mrs. Gonzalez-Abreu
I am thrilled to be your homeroom teacher this year. My name is Mrs. Gonzalez-Abreu (Mrs. G-A for short) and I am excited to be a part of the fourth-grade teaching team at Sauder Elementary again this year. This year I will be teaching ELA, Social Studies, & Technology. This is my fifth year teaching in the Jackson Local School District. My teaching experience consists of teaching 10 years in Miami, Florida (3rd-5th, but primarily 4th) and 7 years in Ohio (4th grade). I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading.Nine years ago, my husband and I relocated from Miami, Florida with our three daughters, Francesca (17), Catalina (15), and Gabriela (13). We also have a dog, Annie. I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, watching my girls in their activities (soccer/lacrosse/hip-hop), and spending time with my family. In order to keep you updated on what we are learning in the classroom, I will be updating our classroom website often. In addition, I will be communicating mainly with parents via e-mail/Remind. Therefore, please make sure I have a current e-mail address on file.Once again, I am ecstatic about this new school year and know that it is going to be a great one, full of learning fun!Fun Facts:
