BUSINESS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The Jackson Local School District is a Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Advisory Committee member.
The committee members consist of local business leaders, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions in higher education and K-12 schools. The goal of the committee is to provide mutual feedback. Schools can steer curriculum and courses of study to better match industry needs and address shortcomings. Businesses can also communicate with schools about where they envision future openings and what is on the horizon in terms of booming career fields.
