Welcome to Amherst School!  This is a list of supplies your child will need to bring to school.  

**Additional items may be added by your child’s teacher in the fall**

 

Kindergarten Supply List

1. Book bag

 

2. School box 
Note: Any supplies that do not fit in the school box will be kept in your child's cubbie until it is needed.

3. Scissors (blunt-end, no sharp points)

4. Paint shirt (large old short sleeve t-shirt)

5. Gym shoes on gym days

6. 1 bottle of  White School Glue 

7.  9 large glue sticks 

8.  2 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons

9.  2 boxes of tissues

10.  2 containers of Wet Ones

11.  Spiral notebook

12.  Lunch box  labeled with child’s name

13.  1 Pink Pearl Eraser

14.  24 sharpened pencils with erasers on top 

15.  4 Thin Dry Erase Expo Markers, 4 Bullet or Chisel tip EXPO Dry Erase Markers

16. Change of clothes in a large Ziploc bag labeled with child’s name

17.  1 bottle of hand sanitizer

18.  Clear zippered pencil pouch with holes to fit 3 ring folder

19. 2 PLASTIC folder with 2 pockets and 3 prongs inside

 

Colored Pencils (optional)

1 box of 8 Crayola Washable “Classic Color Markers”  (optional)
