A Peer Mediator is a student who helps other students find creative ways to solve problems. The Students completed eight classroom guidance lessons and 10 demonstrated the leadership abilities required of a Peer Mediator. The process was very intense this year with a potential 59 candidates! They had to complete three personal references (current teacher, Mr. Hayden, and a past teacher recommendation). After review, the candidates were cut down to 20. Each candidate also had an individual interview with me on how they would handle a potential small problem scenario.
