Email: bjg2jc@jackson.sparcc.org

Grade: Kindergarten
I graduated from Malone University in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Reading. I have been teaching at Jackson for 7 years. I began my career teaching Little Cubs, a program structured to build phonemic awareness and phonics. I then taught one year in Kindergarten. I taught First grade for 4 years and have spent the last 3 in Kindergarten, which is my first love!
At Malone University I met my husband, and we have been married just over 8 years. Last October we had our dreams of becoming parents come true when our daughter Mara was born. I took the rest of the school year off to take care of and spend time with her. Being a mom is the most wonderful thing in the world!
I grew up all over the Midwest. I have lived in Michigan, Nebraska, Minnesota, and have happily found my home here in Ohio. I am a huge animal -lover! I enjoy spending time with our families and friends. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, spending time with my husband, reading, traveling, singing silly songs to my daughter, and cooking.
