Hello and WELCOME to Miss Nagy’s 2nd Grade Website! I hope you are looking forward to a fun and prosperous year full of learning! 

This will be my first year as a classroom teacher here at Jackson, and I could not be more excited to build relationships with you and your child! I am located in Room #212.

In 2018, I completed my student teaching here at Strausser, and graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been so lucky to have experienced several long-term subbing jobs here in Jackson since then. Notably, I fulfilled a Strausser 2nd grade long-term substitute position during the 2019 - 2020 school year, so I am back with a team of wonderful, familiar faces! Last school year (2020 - 2021), I was a Core Support Teacher at Sauder, and got to work with K - 5 teachers and students. Jackson has provided me with integral training and development as I've began my career in teaching, and I am so honored to be back at Strausser doing what I love most!

Growing up, I was considered an "Army Brat," as my dad was in active-duty Army all through my childhood. I was born in West Point, New York, and have made several moves state-to-state throughout my life. Luckily, Ohio was our landing spot because of family and friends here. Some things I love to do include spending time with my good friends and family, hiking, traveling, shopping, reading, and channeling creativity through writing/drawing. I also love taking my Pug, Bentley, on walks and car rides.
