I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year!  This is my 14th year teaching at Strausser Elementary.  I taught First Grade for six years and this will be my eighth year teaching Second Grade. Time sure flies! I love teaching at Strausser Elementary and bringing my own children with me who are in 4th Grade and Kindergarten this year as well!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from The University of Akron in 2003 and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University in 2011.  

I live in Jackson Township with my husband, Josh, our son, Jack, and our daughter, Addison.  We enjoy spending time together, attending events in the community and cheering on the Polar Bears at various sporting events throughout the year.  One of my favorite things about living in the same community as I teach is seeing and hearing about past students of mine succeeding in academics, athletics and in the arts as young adults in the community.

Favorite Teams: The Jackson Polar Bears, The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cleveland Cavaliers!
