About Me:
Family is very important to me and a big part of who I am! My mom works in the Perry Local School District and my Dad is in the construction business. My older sister, Kelli 36, is a marriage and family counselor and my younger brother, Kyle 32, is a mechanical engineer! We are very close and all 2 years apart! Now you know how old I am ;). I LOVE spending time with my nieces Scarlet, Caroline, and Emma and my nephews Liam and Owen! My husband Dale and I got married October 29th, 2021 and bought our first home in Jackson! We also have exciting news! We are expecting our first child, a son named Lucas, in October! We love playing with our wonderful Fur-babies (cats), Willow and Finnley. Willow loves to play fetch (yes I throw her mouse and she fetches it and brings it back!) and Finn loves to get into everything! I love movies, music, art, and I love being outdoors too! I love going kayaking and being out on the water and boating and swimming. I love to read and, yes, that is why our classroom theme is Harry Potter! My favorite Book Series. I also LOVE going to concerts!
Education:
*I grew up in Perry Township and graduated from Perry High School in 2007.
*I graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education PreK-3 with the K-12 Reading endorsement and a Sociology Minor.
*I then attended Walsh University in 2012 and received the 4-5 generalist endorsement, allowing me to teach 4th-5th grade.
*Google Certified May 2017
*Polaris Certified May 2017
*I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in Spring 2018 with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and I received my Gifted Education Endorsement.

*Hired at Amherst Elementary June 2012
*Taught 1st grade from 2012-2013
*Taught 4th grade from 2013-2014
*Moved to 3rd grade Fall 2014
