• Hello! My name is Destany Shanaberger, the School Counselor for Lake Cable Elementary!

     

    The 2024-2025 school year will be my 1st year at Lake Cable and my 5th year in the education field. Before joining the Jackson Local Schools family, I worked as a paraprofessional at Tallmadge Local Schools. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and graduated from The University of Akron with a Master's degree in School Counseling.
     
    I am married to Chris, and together we have two dogs, Nova & Roxy!
