On Friday, January 20th, the JHS Junior Class participated in a career showcase and had the opportunity to choose a career session to attend. Professionals from the community shared their professional journey with the students. This event was the culmination of many months of planning. In May of 2022, a high school leadership team, under the direction of Matt Ziders, brainstormed ideas to help build community and student connections. The career showcase is one of several events introduced this year that we want to continue and make bigger and better in years to come. We want students to realize how amazing business and industry are in and around Stark County. There are enormous opportunities in very diverse types of career pathways. We want to recognize the following professionals and businesses that answered the call and volunteered their time to share their wisdom with the juniors of Jackson High School. They include:
