National Honors Society Partner with Stark County Diaper Bank
Jackson High School's National Honor Society has partnered with the Stark County Diaper Bank in a three-phase community service project.
The first phase was a Chipotle fundraiser that brought $400 to the Stark County Diaper Bank.
The second phase required NHS members to each donate a 72-county box of diapers (or greater). More than 100 boxes of diapers, mostly larger sizes to meet a diaper bank need, was donated by Jackson NHS member. More than 7,000 diapers were put on the shelves of the Stark County Diaper Bank through this project.
The third phase required each member of Jackson's NHS to volunteer time at the diaper bank during this school year.
Pictured below are Adam Boogaard and Christina McDaniel, who volunteered to load three vehicles to transport the 7,000 diapers to the diaper bank.
