Jackson High School FFA Horticulture Annual Plant Sale Begins May 1

Jackson High School FFA Horticulture Annual Plant Sale Begins May 1

The Jackson High School FFA Horticulture Annual Plant Sale will begin May 1 at the high school greenhouse.

On May 1, sale hours will be 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each weekday after that, hours will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. until all plants are sold. Parking is available behind Jackson High School at the greenhouse.

The sale will include a wide selection of hanging baskets, annual bedding plants, herbs, and vegetables. More than a fundraiser, the event reflects the hands-on learning taking place in Jackson’s horticulture program. Students gain practical experience through planting, cultivating, and preparing products for sale — building skills that connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities.

The annual plant sale is also a chance for the community to see student learning in action while supporting a program that helps prepare students for future success. Families, staff, and community members are encouraged to stop by, support our students, and take home something for their home or garden.
