Superintendent Christopher DiLoreto

Mr. Chris DiLoreto has been the superintendent of the Jackson Local School District since 2011. Prior to Jackson, Mr. DiLoreto graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education. He has 14 years of classroom experience in grades 7-12.

In the spring of 2002, Mr. DiLoreto earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. He began his administrative career in 2002 as an assistant principal after earning his principal (4-9 and 7-12) licenses.

Mr. DiLoreto came to Jackson Local as a building principal in 2005. In 2008 he started to serve in the first of several administrative roles in the district’s Central Office.

In 2009, Mr. DiLoreto became the district’s assistant superintendent and, in 2011 he became the 14th superintendent of the Jackson Local School District. Mr. DiLoreto earned his Master of Business Administration in 2018.

Jackson Local Schools has earned numerous national awards for being a top-performing district, including national recognition from U.S. News & World Report, and Niche.com. JLSD’s energy management program, instituted in 2010, has saved Jackson Local taxpayers more than $6 million. JLSD has received statewide recognition for being among the top 10% of Ohio districts in academic achievement and among the lowest 10% in per-student spending.

He is married to wife, Lisa, and they have one daughter, Gia, a Jackson High School graduate. The DiLoreto family resides in Jackson Township.
