Polar Pups

The Polar Pups are a dedicated group of therapy dogs and their handlers who visit schools in Jackson. We are fortunate to have this team, which plays a crucial role in supporting our students. They not only help children build confidence in reading but also offer a comforting presence during stressful times. All Polar Pups are trained therapy dogs and each one volunteers their time to make a positive impact on our schools.

 

The Polar Pups have participated in various district programs, including literacy initiatives, teacher projects, and summer reading programs. While we enjoy these activities, our primary focus is on the Elementary School reading program and therapeutic visits to the Middle and High Schools.
