Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

We want everyone who visits the Jackson Local School District website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. The Jackson Local School District is dedicated to ensuring our digital environment is accessible to everyone. In accordance with Policy 7540.02, we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, ensuring that all students, parents, and community members—regardless of ability—can effectively access our web content, mobile apps, and digital resources.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Jackson Local School District website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Jackson Local School District website.
