Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Despot, but you can call me Des! :) This is my 5th year teaching at Jackson High School, 4th as a JHS cheer coach, and 2nd year as the Film Club Advisor. For those unfamiliar with my name, it's probably because I got married last summer! Previously, I was known as Miss Guilliams, or "Miss G" for short. 

I graduated from Kent State University with an undergrad in Integrated Language Arts and am currently finishing my master's in Library and Information Science. I completed my student teaching in Dublin, Ireland and have since found that the experience has taught me how to handle and incorporate diversity into my own lessons and classroom.

I've loved every moment of my time here at JHS thus far and am looking forward to making new memories with this year's classes, club, and cheer team! See you in P115!
